Lesson #2: Who cares? Hunching forward in the Bumbo seat is FUN.

I love to see Fi smiling.

Is she a red-head? What a total doll she is. I can see (from the size of her foot) that she will be tall, Bumbo seat or not.

She looks like she's conducting an interview and someone said something very amusing and revealing.

Ooooh, she's getting FUN, isn't she? I love when they start developing real personalities. I know, I know, infants are great, but really they're kinda just like blobs that need to be fed and changed all the time. Cute blobs, which is why we keep them around during that time, but blobs nonetheless.

Each new stage in my kids' life I thought - this is my favorite stage yet! That doesn't last forever, but each new stage definitely brings with it new challenges and new joys. Fi is a beauty and I can feel her personality from here.

Ohhhhhhh. That smile! Her eyes are all sparkles! She's painfully beautiful. Now I'm all verklempt and want to go on a wild baby hugging spree. Except, you know, that would be kind of weird and creepy, and no one would understand, so I'll refrain.

Oh crud, sorry, to leave an off-topic comment, but I read this post and thought of you and figured you might find it interesting, too.
